Ukraine rights envoy prompts reaction to declared execution of caught soldiers

Ukraine’s human rights ombudsman has prompted global organisations to respond to an accusation that anumberof Ukrainian detainees of war were performed in Russia’s Kursk area.

DeepState, a Ukrainian battleground analysis website close to Ukraine’s Defence Ministry, stated that Russian soldiers eliminated 9 Ukrainian “drone operators and specialists” on October 10 after they had gaveup.

Dmytro Lubinets stated on Sunday that the global neighborhood “must not turn a blind eye” to the declared executions.

The ombudsman composed on Telegram that he had sentout letters to the United Nations and the International Red Cross about the event, referring to it as “another criminalactivity dedicated by the Russians”.

Ukrainian Prosecutor-General Andriy Kostin likewise stated his workplace had opened a criminal examination into the declared execution and stated killing detainees of war was a “gross infraction” of the Geneva Convention.

“We are doing our utmost to determine and prosecute all those accountable for the assailant’s criminalactivities devoted versus Ukraine and Ukrainians,” Kostin composed on X.
