United Airlines states a flight heading from San Francisco to Boston had to be diverted after the airplane suffered damage to one of its wings

NEW YORK — A United Airlines cross-country flight was cut brief and the jetliner landed in Denver after one of its wings was harmed.

A guest on the San Francisco-to-Boston flight Monday stated he had simply put in earbuds and began to doze off when he felt the airplane shaking.

“All of a unexpected I heard this violent vibration like I had neverever heard before,” Kevin Clarke stated in an interview Tuesday.

Clarke stated one of the pilots strolled down the aisle of the primary cabin, then returned to the cockpit and revealed that the aircraft had small damage to its right wing and the flight would be diverted to Denver.
