Prosecutors in the United States are advising that criminal charges be brought versus Boeing after finding the airplane maker broke a settlement associated to 2 deadly crashes, 2 individuals familiar with the matter informed the Reuters news firm.

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) needto choose by July 7 whether to prosecute Boeing. The suggestion by districtattorneys handling the case has not been formerly reported.

In May, authorities identified the business breached a 2021 arrangement that had protected Boeing from a criminal charge of conspiracy to devote scams emerging from 2 deadly crashes in 2018 and 2019, including the 737 MAX jet.
