MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. — The rapartist previously understood as Kanye West was accompanied out of the California-based headoffice of athletic shoemaker Skechers after he revealed up unannounced Wednesday, a day after Adidas ended its collaboration with the artist following his antisemitic remarks.
The Grammy winner, who lawfully altered his name to Ye, “arrived unannounced and without invite” at Skechers business headoffice in Manhattan Beach, southwest of Los Angeles, the business stated.
“Considering Ye was engaged in unapproved recording, 2 Skechers executives accompanied him and his celebration from the structure after a short discussion,” according to a business declaration.
“Skechers is not thinkingabout and has no intent of working with West,” the business stated. “We condemn his current dissentious remarks and do not endure antisemitism or any other type of hate speech.”
