PUBLISHED : 2 Oct 2023 at 19: 40 The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) has put on hold the strategy to extend the Yellow Line electrical train path as it has drewin no interest from capacity financiers, according to the authority’s guv, Pakapong Sirikantaramas. The proposed strategy to construct a 2.6-km extension connecting the Yellow Line’s Lat Phrao station to the Ratchayothin location was put forth by the Eastern Bangkok Monorail (EBM), a subsidiary of Bangkok Mass Transit System Plc, as a link inbetween the BTS’s Green Line and the MRT Blue Line. It was not consistedof in the Mass Rapid Transit Master Plan in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region (M-Map), a 20-year strategy for establishing main and secondary public transportation networks (2010-2029).
