Construction work in various Kolkata Metro stations along the New Garia-airport passage is going on in complete swing as trains along that stretch will run up to Beleghata quickly, a representative stated on Monday.

While train services along the 5.40 km stretch from New Garia (Kavi Subhash) to Ruby More (Hemanta Mukhopadhyay) stations have currently endupbeing practical, another 4.39 km stretch extending up to Beleghata has got the clearance after cautious assessment of all security criteria needed for commissioning.

“The commercial services on this extended stretch will start extremely quickly,” he stated.
