The US‑India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) is set to lead what is being described as the largest-ever US industry delegation to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, marking a visible push to deepen technology cooperation between the two countries. The event will run from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The summit is being organised by India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Its theme – People, Planet, Progress – frames discussions around practical and responsible uses of artificial intelligence rather than research alone.
USISPF leads largest US delegation to India AI summit
Ahead of the summit, USISPF announced a Board AI Task Force led by its chairman John Chambers. The group says it will focus on strengthening AI ecosystems in both countries and speeding up what it calls ‘population-scale’ deployment, while maintaining safeguards.
Chambers said the forum would use its experience in public–private partnerships to promote responsible AI development “for nearly two billion people” across India and the United States. He also described the US-India technology partnership as strategically significant in the current era.
