Apricot Almond Galette

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup saltless butter, cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • 1 cup apricots, chopped
  • ½ cup almonds, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon apricot jam
  • 1 tablespoon water


Method

  • Preheat oven to 175°C.
  • In a food processor, integrate the flour, cold butter, granulated sugar and cold water. Pulse into a coarse crumb.
  • Transfer the mix onto a gently floured surfacearea and knead into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a disc, wrap it in plastic wrap and cool for 30 minutes.
