Embark on a multidimensional head journey through physical, virtual and medicinal truths.
Multinational art cumulative Equip explain themselves as “an experiment in developing a neural playground for artists with strong identities, each operating inbetween various micro-genres to broaden a self-contained story.” Their 2nd task, Neurotrance, draws together a excellent team consistingof director and editor Paris Seawell, artists Zeynep S. Schelling & Enes Güç and artist Nobuto Hauama, otherwise understood as SVBKVLT manufacturer Prettybwoy, into the blast radius of “a psychic carpet bomb, proving various layers of truths all linked by a strange transformative energy – an adrenal overdrive that doesn’t adhere and doesn’t relent.”
Mapping a near future world of surrealist sci-fi landscapes, terraforming nests and largely loaded cities utilizing a maximalist accident of live-action filmmaking, crisp CGI animation and brain-scrambling VFX, Neurotrance is a multidimensional head journey soundtracked by Prettybwoy’s elaborate club sonics.
Hurtling at warp speed through a series of dreamlike vignettes: 2 tiredout natural researchstudy researchers mishandling psychotropic compounds, a monstrous orchid blossoming out of the tongue muscle and sinew of an unwary old male, a glitched-out awareness forecast through alternate measurements, the movie is a hyper-saturated reflection of a world in which several truths, virtual, physical and medicinal, are stacked one on top of each other.
“I personally desired to provide birth to a brand-new truth that is difficult to acknowledge or put into a particular classification,” discusses VFX Director Enes Güç. “To get there it required lotsof various approaches in its production procedure, as well as lotsof various methods.” Featuring contributions from artists and filmmakers from London, Berlin, Sydney, Tokyo, Los Angeles and more, Neurotrance refracts several creativities into a single kaleidoscopic vision.
