National League winner

What to know: The Dodgers are the reigning champs and got their title defense off to a positive start, sweeping the Reds in the wild-card round. Next up is a date with the Phillies in the divisional round, with the Dodgers favored to win both the NL and World Series, and Philadelphia second on both boards. In the other NL wild-card matchup, the Cubs and Padres series is tied at a game apiece, with the deciding game set for Thursday in Chicago. The winner faces Milwaukee in the divisional round.
American League winner
Mariners: +180 (bet $10 to win $28 total)
Blue Jays: +275 (bet $10 to win $37.50 total)
Yankees: +475 (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)
Red Sox: +650 (bet $10 to win $75 total)

What to know: And just like that, the Yankees and Red Sox will face off Thursday with both of their seasons on the line. N.Y. fell in Game 1 of their wild-card series, but bounced back to take Game 2 over Boston. The winner of Thursday’s Game 3 will face the Blue Jays in the divisional round. The other AL wild-card series is also tied 1-1, after the Guardians defeated the Tigers on Wednesday. Game 3 is Thursday, with the winner primed to take on the Mariners next.
