Nov. 18 (UPI) — Nearly 20,000 demonstrators, consistingof lovedones of Israeli captives in Gaza, marched towards Jerusalem Saturday to put pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire that would possibly totallyfree hundreds of slaves after 6 weeks of war inbetween Israel and Hamas.

The huge crowd set out on foot from Tel Aviv Saturday earlymorning, gettinghere in Mevasseret Zion in the afternoon before case to the Israeli capital, the Jerusalem Post reported. The United States did not acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel’s capital upuntil2017

The protesters are requiring the federalgovernment make increased efforts to complimentary household members held because the war started on Oct. 7.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid tookpart in the march as lovedones of captives required a conference with top-level authorities in the Israeli federalgovernment, consistingof Netanyahu.
