2023 was a turbulent year for videogaming, complete of layoffs and debates that cast a veil of unpredictability over the market. But the RPG and Indie sectors did amazingly well, and the numbers behind Baldur’s Gate 3 and Lethal Company show that a videogame being excellent is all it takes for success.

VGInsights released a report of its analysis of the videogaming market in 2023, and numerous familiar names cropped up in the leading 10 verypopular videogames of the year.
