Nov. 1 (UPI) — Former President Donald Trump tooklegalactionagainst CBS News on Thursday in federal court charging it stealthily modified a 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris to program her in a more favorable light in the governmental project.
The $10 billion suit stated the interview with Trump’s Democratic governmental challenger was “partisan and illegal acts of election and citizen disturbance through destructive, misleading and considerable news distortion.”
The suit included: “To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakpoint, CBS utilized its nationwide platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the workout of judgment in reporting to deceiving, misleading adjustment of news.”
Trump’s suit calls for CBS News to “publicly release the complete, unedited records of the [interview].”
