Heads of churches state Israeli federalgovernment is requiring they pay residentialorcommercialproperty tax, disturbing status quo

JERUSALEM (AP) — Leaders of significant churches haveactually implicated Israeli authorities of introducing a “coordinated attack” on the Christian existence in the Holy Land by starting tax procedures versus them.

While Israeli authorities have attempted to dismiss the argument as a regular monetary matter, the churches state the relocation upsets a centuries-old status quo and shows installing intolerance for the small Christian existence in the Holy Land.

In a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week, the heads of the significant Christian denominations declared that 4 towns throughout Israel had justrecently sent caution letters to church authorities warning them of legal action if they did not pay taxes.
