Almost 2km of track is being moved to permit HS2 to develop brand-new high-speed lines underneath the existing train network.

The video (below) reveals engineers utilizing a ‘new track building’ train to setup brand-new sleepers and rail throughout a brand-new 100-metre bridge developed by HS2 professional EKFB. This will permit guest and freight trains to run over the brand-new high-speed line.

The expert engineering train, one of just 2 of its kind in the nation, setup 2,953 concrete sleepers and 2,000 metres of brand-new rail on Sunday 17th September.
