One of the most preparedfor UFC battles in current memory is no longer occurring.
Heavyweight champ Jon Jones is out of his UFC 295 title battle versus all-time fantastic Stipe Miocic after he suffered a torn pectoral muscle in training that will sideline him for 8 months, UFC CEO Dana White revealed late Tuesday night. White’s statement on social media consistedof video of the occurrence.
With Jones (27-1 MMA, 21-1 UFC) out, Miocic (20-4 MMA, 14-4 UFC) will not stay on the card for concealed factors. As a result, top competitors Sergei Pavlovich and Tom Aspinall will contend for the interim champion in the Nov. 11 co-main occasion at Madison Square Garden in New York.
