Nov. 4 (UPI) — Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi appeared late Sunday, killing at least 6 individuals and impacting more than a lots towns, the country’s catastrophe management authority stated Monday.
The eruption happened minutes before midnight Sunday and lasted for about 24 minutes, the company stated in a declaration. The almost 5,600-foot-tall volcano is situated in Indonesia’s southern East Nusa Tenggara Province.
Hot ash, stone and laval was ejected in a radius of almost 4 miles, Indonesia’s state-run Antara news firm reported.
