Jan. 28 (UPI) — Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated Sunday she will ask the FBI to examine the funding of pro-Palestine protesters, apparently suggesting they might be Russian plants.
“For them to call for a cease-fire is Mr. Putin’s message, Mr. Putin’s message. Make no error, this is straight linked to what he would like to see. Same thing with Ukraine. It’s about Putin’s message,” Pelosi stated in an interview with CNN.
She stated she believes just “some” of these protesters are “spontaneous and natural and genuine” however that some “are linked to Russia.”
Interviewer Dana Bash then particularly asked Pelosi if she thought some of the demonstrations are Russian plants.
