After a current report painted the Carolina Panthers as a inefficient company, group owner David Tepper hasactually dealtwith a wave of criticism.
Joseph Person and Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported last week that individuals within the company explained the culture as being like the film “The Hunger Games,” where different staffmembers were interacting with Tepper behind Frank Reich’s back previously he was fired from his head training position.
NBC Sports’ Peter King stated on Monday that he thinks Person and Russini “have the story nailed,” and he provided his viewpoint on the matter.
“Two ideas. One: An owner who actively engages with numerous workers in opposition to what the head coach is doing is a huge part of the issue,” King composed. “It’s not the owner’s task to motivate staffmembers to undercut the coach. It’s wicked that the owner would engage in or motivate that. Two: That franchise is a mess.”
The Panthers lost to the New Orleans Saints 28-6 on Sunday to fall to 1-12 this season, the worst record in the NFL.
