Philippine inflation accelerates for 3rd month, keeping main bank careful

MANILA (Reuters) -Philippine yearly inflation increased for a 3rd straight month in April due to spedup food and transportation rate development, support the main bank’s current choices to keep financial policy limiting.

The customer cost index increased 3.8% in April from a year earlier, listedbelow the 4.1% typical projection in a Reuters survey, and within the main bank’s 3.5% to 4.3% projection for the month. Annual inflation was 3.7% in March.
