Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson gained a new rival in his former teammate Geno Stone.

Stone, who spent three years with the Ravens, signed a two-year, $15 million deal with Ravens’ divisional rival Cincinnati Bengals Monday, spurring a reaction from Jackson on social media.

While Jackson will certainly be looking to best Stone and the Bengals next year, his post was likely in jest.

After running back Saquon Barkley joined the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency earlier in the day, former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber said that Barkley is “dead to me.” Jackson posted the quote on his Instagram story.

“My new quote. ‘You’re dead to me,'” he said, using a laughing emoji.

Jackson used his new quote shortly after when describing his former teammate.

Now, the two will face off on different teams, and it should make for a fun rivalry. Jackson threw for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns on his way to an MVP in 2023. Stone had 68 tackles and seven interceptions last season for the Ravens.

Throwing against Stone won’t be an easy task
