Nov. 11 (UPI) — SpaceX has apparently struck a offer with LG Energy Solution Ltd. to supply round lithium-ion batteries for Elon Musk’s Starship rocket, anticipated to launch early next year, according to market sources.

“We haveactually signed a agreement to supply power supply batteries for SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft and are presently establishing the item,” a representative for LG Energy Solution informed Teslarati, The Korea Herald and The Korea Economic Daily on Monday.
