A linear narrative with optional side stories, easter eggs, and limited collectibles, this game excels at lengthy levels, diverse mechanics, and challenging boss battles.
So here’s how long it takes to complete Split Fiction.
1. How long does it take to beat Split Fiction?
Split Fiction marks a significant leap in scale and variety compared to Hazelight’s previous games, but its overall length and chapter count remain relatively similar. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:
- Main story: 12 hours
- Main story with side stories: 15 hours
- 100% completion (including trophies): 16-25 hours
Completing the main story of Split Fiction takes around 12 hours, but we recommend exploring the game’s side stories to get to know the characters and their history.
Split Fiction has 12 optional side stories in total, each needing only 15 minutes to complete. You can also unlock unique trophies in each level, and while these can be easy to miss, the game’s chapter select feature allows you to revisit any level and checkpoint to re-experience everything.
