Thompson tried to take on Al Horford in an iso before slipping on the court, causing him to fall while writhing in pain.

Making it worse was that when this all happened, the game had pretty much already been decided. The Pistons took a timeout to check on Thompson. He needed a minute, but he managed to walk out under his own power, which would indicate that he managed to avoid anything serious.
The Athletic’s Hunter Thompson later reported that, per the Pistons, Thompson suffered a right calf cramp.
