It’s the middle of MLB season which means it’s time for the 2024 MLB Draft!
On Sunday, July 14, the first two rounds of the MLB Draft will take place. The MLB draft is quite different from the NFL, NBA and NHL drafts, with the selections taking place mid-season while also boasting some unique rules to keep in mind.
For the 2024 MLB Draft, the Cleveland Guardians will have the No. 1 overall pick, followed by the Cincinnati Reds. Heading into the draft, infielders JJ Wetherholt out of West Virginia, Charlie Condon of Georgia and Travis Bazzana of Oregon State are all set to be drafted at the top of the night. In the end, the Guardians chose second baseman Bazzana as the No. 1 overall pick.
