Breakdancing, or just breaking, is set to make its Olympic launching at the 2024 Paris Games. It was included to the Olympic lineup following success at the Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2018 in Buenos Aires.
Each group at the Paris Olympics might certify up to 4 professionalathletes — two each for the guys’s and ladies’s competitors — and Team USA has a complete group of 4 breakers: Sunny Choi and Logan Edra for the ladies’s competitors and Victor Montalvo and Jeffrey Louis for the guys’s occasion.
How does breaking work as an Olympic occasion? As Olympics.com describes: “Athletes will usage a mix of power moves—including windmills, the 6-action, and freezes—as they adjust their design and improvise to the beat of the DJ’s tracks in a quote to safe the judges’ votes and take home the veryfirst Olympic breaking medals.”
