Canelo Alvarez and Oscar De La Hoya had to be apart by security at Wednesday’s press conference for Alvarez’s title battle versus Jaime Munguia.
De La Hoya, who promotes Munguia under Golden Boy, took anumberof shots at Alvarez throughout his initial speech at their pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas, declaring that Alvarez was constructed by Golden Boy and that he’s accountable for his increase in boxing – something Alvarez didn’t take kindly.
“You wear’t feel what you’re stating, motherf*cker,” Alvarez informed his previous promoter. “You have to read it. They compose it for you. They compose it for you, motherf*cker. They have to compose for him what he’s going to state to this f*cking p*ssy. You puton’t compose anything, you moron.
“You wear’t do sh*t. You’re a dumbass, that’s what you are. You’re a dumbass. There’s individuals doing whatever behind the scenes.
