ABU DHABI – “MVP” might be headed to the UFC.
One of the greatest homegrown stars in Bellator history, Michael Page hasactually been a totallyfree representative for months. In March, he was revealed on the UFC 286 broadcast. It’s a rarity for the UFC to go out of its method to acknowledge possible totallyfree representatives.
At Thursday’s UFC 294 pre-fight news conference, Page published a image with UFC president Dana White, which advanced speculation of a budding company relationship inbetween the 2 celebrations. Following UFC 294 on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, White verified the 2 sides are in talks – and there’s interest from both.
“Listen, he’s a kid that we’re certainly interested in and he’s interested, too. So, perhaps,” White stated on whether or not “MVP” will head to the UFC.
Page, 36, has long revealed his desire to complete in the UFC before his profession concludes. Even throughout his Bellator peak, Page honestly acknowledged this. His relationship with Bellator was up and down over the years, as he openly vented disappointments about the promo on several celebrations.
