NASCAR’s bad luck with weathercondition continued in 2024 as the crown gem of the schedule was required to be delayed to Monday.
It’s been drizzling at Daytona International Speedway almost continuously giventhat Saturday earlymorning, and with consistent rain in the projection till early Monday, there was no opportunity that NASCAR would discover a dry window to start the race.
Instead, fans sticking around in soaked Daytona will get a doubleheader, with both the Xfinity Series opener and the Daytona 500 set to run on Monday.
