It’s just fitting that Jalen Reagor will signupwith Justin Jefferson on the Minnesota Vikings.

The Philadelphia Eagles are apparently trading their first-round choice, taken 21st total in the veryfirst round in 2020, to the Vikings, where he will group with Jefferson, who was taken one choice after Reagor.

The 2 large receivers have consideringthat had divergent NFL professions. Reagor neverever came close to matching Jefferson as Jefferson has set an NFL record for getting backyards in the veryfirst 2 seasons of an NFL profession, with 3,016 backyards. Reagor has had just 695 in 2 seasons.

The Eagles are getting Minnesota’s seventh-round choice in 2023 and a conditional fourth-round choice in 2024.

On Tuesday, Eagles basic supervisor Howie Roseman stated Reagor was still on the group duetothefactthat he had a strong preseason. But it was clear that Reagor hadactually fallen down the depth chart behind A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins, who was taken in the 6th round in 2020.

“I think when you appearance at Jalen, one of the things that one of our scouts stated to me today is he was one of the just people that practiced every day,” Roseman stated. “The man brought it every day. He worked on his craft. He had a excellent mindset, terrific energy. Obviously, he’s a talented person. He’s 23 years old.

“We’re going to do whatever we believe is in the finest interest of the group, and we felt like there was no doubt in our mind that he wasworthyof a function on this group.”

Now he’s on the Vikings. The Eagles will see Reagor in Week 2, when the Vikings play the Eagles on Monday night, Sept. 19, at Lincoln Financial Field.
