HONOLULU – Goiti Yamauchi contended much of his profession at light-weight, however not any more.
A staple of the department, Yamauchi (26-5 MMA, 12-4 BMMA) rarely lost battles at 155 pounds, which makes his shift up 15 pounds appear a little out of left field. But for Yamauchi, who contends at Bellator 279 it made sense for several factors.
