LOS ANGELES — Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott revealed Wednesday that he sentout a veryfirst group of migrants to downtown Los Angeles, the newest occurrence including a GOP guv carrying asylum-seekers to a state led by Democrats.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who called the relocation a “despicable stunt,” stated in a declaration that city departments and advocacy groups were setinmotion to accept migrants from Texas.

“This did not catch us off guard, nor will it frighten us,” Bass included. “Los Angeles is not a city inspired by hate or worry and we definitely will not be swayed or moved by petty politicalleaders playing with human lives.
