PHOENIX — Authorities on Sunday revealed the arrest of a suspect linked with the crash that eliminated 2 bicyclists and hurt 11 others in a Phoenix residentialarea.
The Goodyear Police Department revealed that Pedro Quintana-Lujan, 26, is imprisoned on suspicion of 2 counts of murder, 3 counts of intensified attack, 18 counts of endangerment and 2 counts of triggering severe injury or death by a moving infraction.
Police stated Quintana-Lujan was driving a pickup truck carrying a trailer when the truck crashed into a group of bicyclists at about 8 a.m. Saturday on the Cotton Lane Bridge, a hectic highway in Goodyear located about 19 miles west of Phoenix.
Quintana-Lujan remained at the scene of the crash and was complying with authorities in their examination, according to cops spokesperson Lisa Berry.
