A guy was jailed on attack charges after authorities state he assaulted two United Airlines flight attendants on a journey from Miami to Washington, D.C — since he hadactually takenin magic mushrooms.
The occurrence on Oct. 4 started when Cherruy Loghan Sevilla began to cause a disruption one hour into the flight, according to court files submitted in Virginia last week.
Authorities stated Sevilla got the arm of the individual sitting next to him priorto he started “wandering around the aircraft, running up and down the aisle, clapping loudly near the cockpit and shouting profanities.” The affidavit stated Sevilla likewise broke off a piece of a restroom door and opened it when a guest was inside it.
The flight team was able to get Sevilla back into his seat, however his “screams and outburst grew louder,” according to the affidavit. Sevilla laid on the flooring, and when a flight attendant tried to inform him to get back in his seat, authorities stated he declined and got the flight attendant’s breast.
Officers on board, along with other members of the flight team and guests, tried to suppress Sevilla, the affidavit stated. Officers handcuffed Sevilla, however he twisted the arm of another flight attendant throughout the battle.
The affidavit stated Sevilla continued “to scream and shout incoherent things” while handcuffed for the rest of the two-hour flight and shouted when the airplane landed as federal officers boarded the flight to arrest him.
