An Ohio guy who was restrained to his seat with tape throughout a Frontier Airlines flight last year after authorities state he punched and searched team members was sentenced this week to 60 days in prison.  

Maxwell Berry, 23, pleaded guilty in February in U.S. District Court in Miami to 3 counts of attack. In addition to his 60-day sentence, he was fined $2,500 and purchased to pay over $1,500 in restitution, court files program. 

The event tookplace on a Frontier Airlines flight last summerseason from Philadelphia to Miami. The airlinecompany at the time validated to USA TODAY that a guest “made improper physical contact with 2 flight attendants and consequently physically attacked another flight attendant.”  

“As a result, the traveler required to be limited upuntil the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement showedup,” the declaration continued. 

Berry, after buying numerous alcoholic beverages, brushed his cup versus the behind of a flight attendant, numerous outlets reported authorities stated at the time. He lateron spilled a beverage on himself and came out of the airplane’s restroom shirtless. He searched 2 woman flight attendants priorto punching a male flight attendant, police stated.

Video from the flight went viral on social media, amassing millions of views. One clip revealed Berry shouting, “You men (expletive) suck” and talkingabout his momsanddads’ and grandpa’s wealth.
