J.T. Daniels, one of the most well-traveled gamers in college football history, is moving to a 4th school and a 4th conference. Initially the No. 1 quarterback hire coming out of Mater Dei High School in 2019, the previous National Gatorade Player of the Year and USC Trojan will conclude his college profession at Rice University.
Rice coach Mike Bloomgren hired Daniels when the previous was the offensive planner at Stanford and the latter a luxury hire who selected USC.

Daniels was the Trojans’ season-opening quarterback as a real freshman in 2018 and began 11 videogames. He tore an ACL and a meniscus in the 2019 opener, losing his task to Kedon Slovis (who now plays for BYU). Injuries would sideline him onceagain till late in the 2020 season when he was with Georgia. He began 4 videogames for the 2021 nationwide champ Bulldogs priorto losing his task to Stetson Bennett.
