Joey Porter Jr. will be continuing his dad’s tradition in Pittsburgh after the Steelers opened up the 2nd round of the 2023 NFL Draft on Friday by taking the standout cornerback from Penn State.
The senior Joey Porter, a linebacker who played 13 seasons in the NFL, was prepared by the group in the 3rd round back in 1999 and played the bulk of his profession in Pittsburgh. He won a Super Bowl in 2005 while amountingto 5 All-Pro and 4 Pro Bowl looks, all of which came with the Steelers.
