LSU ladies’s basketball gamer Flau’jae Johnson took down a rap video she launched Tuesday after she got criticism for a lyric referencing 9/11.
The tune was a cover of Latto’s “Put It On Da Floor” and yelled out Tigers beginner Hailey Van Lith as Johnson stated that the group is intending to win back-to-back champions.
But numerous ears perked up at the lyric, “In this 911, blowing smoke simply like them towers” where she links a Porsche 911 sportscar to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 when almost 3,000 individuals passedaway.
Johnson’s initial Twitter post with the video of the tune was erased Tuesday night, according to a declaration from the school launched to Fox News.
“We spoke with Flau’jae this night, and while she neverever meant to anger or upset anybody with her lyrics, she revealed genuine regret for any possibility of a misconception and instantly took the video down,” LSU stated. “We will discover and grow from this experience together.
