UFC CEO Dana White will supposedly not excuse Igor Severino’s actions in his marketing launching.
Severino (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who dealtwith fellow debuting unbeaten flyweight Andre Lima, was disqualified in the 2nd round for biting. Lima (8-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) was safeguarding in the clinch, and throughout the series versus the fence, Severino bit his left arm.
Lima motioned to the referee that he was bit by his challenger, resulting in a timeout in the battle and subsequent disqualification after the video evaluation.
After the battle at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, White messaged Kevin Iole, mentioning that Severino’s UFC run started and ended Saturday.
