Report: Colts worked out Virginia TE Jelani Woods

The Indianapolis Colts justrecently worked out Virginia tight end Jelani Woods ahead of the 2022 NFL draft, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Given his athletic profile, Woods has the attention of simply about every group in the NFL leading up to the draft. His numbers at the NFL integrate required groups to satisfy with him and work him out priorto settling their grades.

Virginia TE Jelani Woods — who evaluated off the charts at 6-foot-7, 275 pounds — is in New York on a “Top 30” goto with the #Giants today priorto checkingout the #Falcons on Wednesday, per source. He’s satisfied with 20 groups consideringthat the integrate, consistingof current #Colts and #Bills exercises.

Woods came out of the integrate as perhaps the most athletic tight end in current history. At 6-foot-7 and 253 pounds, Woods ran a 4.61 in the 40-yard dash and published a 37.5-inch vertical.
