Report: Commanders not likely to be punished for declared tampering with Andrew Luck

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay produced headings 2 weeks ago with a late-night tweet about declared tampering with retired quarterback Andrew Luck.

If any NFL Team,attempted to contact Andrew Luck (or any partner of him)… to play for their Franchise – it would be a clear Violation of the League’s Tampering Policy.

Irsay’s tweet came after an ESPN story concerning the Washington Commanders’ pursuit of a quarterback and “even telephoned about retired Andrew Luck, simply in case,” the story read.

The Colts supposedly asked the NFL to appearance into the declared tampering. Sources close to Luck, his dad and his uncle, who acted as his representative, all rejected Washington had reached out to Luck.

Luck retired in 2019 simply inthepast he would start his 8th NFL season at age 29.
