Somebody tell Rex Ryan that election season is over. It’s safe to say he didn’t get the message considering how hard he’s campaigning for the Jets’ head coaching job.
Ryan is trying his hardest to throw his name into the hat Jack and Brick will use to pick out the Jets’ new head coach when the time comes. He’s been publicly begging the Jets to hire him as the team’s next head coach, which is hilarious considering how horribly things ended between the two sides. Why anyone would want to run that back is beyond me.
But, alas. We’re here. Ryan is making his case and is even reportedly interviewing for the job.
