Royal Caribbean Group has got court approval to obtain a Crystal Cruises ship, and will secure the deposits of clients who had reservations on the ship after the cruise line suspended operations earlier this year.
Crystal Endeavor will signupwith the Silversea Cruises fleet this month, Royal Caribbean stated in a news release Monday. The ship, which will be relabelled Silver Endeavour, “is designed particularly to take tourists to the world’s most remote locations, consistingof both polar areas,” the business stated.
Endeavour will invest its veryfirst season in Antarctica, start in November.
“With Endeavour, we are lookingfor to grow our world class fleet to fulfill the remarkable need for ultra-luxury exploration travelling, while likewise improving our success profile and verifying Silversea’s position as the market’s leading ultra-luxury and exploration cruise line,” Royal Caribbean Group president and CEO Jason Liberty, stated in the release.

Royal Caribbean will safeguard consumers’ deposits
The cruise line operator stated it will secure the deposits of clients who were previously reserved on the ship and who make a brand-new reservation on Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, or Silversea Cruises.
“To the level the Crystal Endeavor visitors do not get their deposits back from Crystal or other sources, the Royal Caribbean Group will refund any quantity paid on their brand-new reservation up to the quantity of their lost deposits from Crystal,” the business stated in the release. “Complete terms of the deal will be offered on each brandname’s site quickly.”
