Super Bowl 2024: 12 photos of Allegiant Stadium in all its Death Star glory over the years

For the first time ever, the Super Bowl is in Las Vegas with the 2024 game at Allegiant Stadium.

It’s a first for the state of Nevada overall as well, and given the host city, we expect the 2024 Super Bowl to be unforgettable — even if Raiders fans likely feel differently about the 2023 season.

The newly constructed venue opened in 2020 and cost just shy of $2 billion to construct, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. And last year, the Raiders announced plans to add more suites to the stadium ahead of Super Bowl 58.

So for the 2024 Super Bowl, here’s a look at 12 photos of the Death Star that is Allegiant Stadium throughout its short existence.

The pink moon got its name because the April full moon occurs at the same time as the pink wildflower Phlox subulata blooms in North America.
