Texas angler lands giant bass, however is the image deceptive?

A Texas angler landed one heck of a largemouth bass this week while fishing at Lake Nacogdoches.

It was so enormous that biologists obtained the bass for usage in a selective breeding program to advantage statewide fisheries.

But priorto anybody gets too thrilled, the bass captured by Jack York is not as big as it appears to be in an image shared Monday by the Toyota ShareLunker Program – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

Top remark: “Camera male… ‘HOLD IT AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN TO ME! THIS FISH LOOKS AS BIG AS A GROWN MAN! PERFECT!’ ”

Another observation: “I’m gonna requirement this professionalphotographer to take my fish photos! That is a giant however geeze in this pic it looks larger than Jack. Good task!”

Ribbing aside, the bass weighed 13.51 pounds, definitely worthwhile of Legacy Class ShareLunker classification.

Legacy bass should weigh at least 13 pounds to endedupbeing part of the reproducing program, performed January through March each year. The fish are urged to generate at a hatchery and their offspring are equipped around the state.
