It’s been sometime because we’ve seen a New York Jets loss as bad as this one.
We’re more than midway through the 2022 NFL season and the Jets really have a winning record at 6-4! The group even tossed some shade the Buffalo Bills method after a secret Week 9 triumph over their AFC East competitors.
Unfortunately, the Jets excellent vibes came to a shrieking stop on Sunday versus the New England Patriots. For the 2nd time in 3 weeks, the Patriots handed the Jets a loss, this time a 10-3 defeat in the most agonizing method possible. After being connected 3-3 for the bulk of the videogame, novice Marcus Jones returned a punt 84-yards for a Patriots goal with simply 5 seconds staying in the 4th quarter.
Instead of perhaps going to overtime to sort out the winner, the Jets left New England with their tail inbetween their legs after this ruthless goal.
