Happy Friday, folks! Welcome back to Layup Lines. Thanks so much for signingupwith me today. I hope you’ve had a terrific week and have a muchbetter weekend ahead of you.
Mine? Oh, it going terrific till Thursday night. I viewed my Wizards fumble away a win versus LeBron James and the Lakers.
This has got to be the most agonizing season I’ve ever withstood as a fan of this group. And y’all understand me, male — I’ve been through some stuff with this group. That Clippers resurgence. The John Wall thing. Spencer Dinwiddie. Just…ugh.
Somehow, though, this season sits on a pedestal of suckitude alone. The Wizards are a laughingstock. Only having 9 wins so far this season currently felt like rock bottom. It definitely is. But, as it turns out, things are just getting evenworse.
Washington didn’t win a single videogame in February — the group went 0-12. You have to call the group the Ashington Izards now. The Ws are gone. I would state toss some Ls in front of that however I likewise feel like real Lizards may be insulted.
I puton’t understand when the next Wizards win may come. There’s no “get best” videogame on the schedule. The Wizards are the “get best” group everybody looks forward to. The group can’t play itself. If it did, it’d clearly lose. Yes, it’s that bad.
We’re still rather a bit away from the Wizards possibly breaking the Piston’s streak, however I’ll inform you what: It does feel possible.
It’s tough to identify where the group’s next win will come from.
Washington’s next 5 videogames are: @ L.A. Clippers, @ Utah
