NBA fans continue to grumble about the advertisements they’re seeing throughout every single 2024 playoff videogame, whether it’s the Wingstop No Flex Zone earworm or the dulcet tones of Oklahoma City Thunder stars Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander singing a parody of Christina Aguilera’s What a Girl Wants.
It’s an AT&T advertisement proving the 2 of them singing “What a Pro Wants” rather, and uh, they’re a little pitchy, dawg. And when we veryfirst heard the industrial a month ago or so, it was amusing.
Now? It’s frustrating as heck and individuals are truly grumbling about it on X (formerly Twitter):
By now we understand “What a professional desires”. But what DP and the Danettes want is for this commercial to be put to bed. pic.twitter.com/tlhHeMUesJ

the at&t “what a professional desires, what a professional requires” commercial is formally the worst business of all-time. i’ve been watching the playoffs in a constant state of fear of that it could rear its head at any time pic.twitter.com/Wm5C9Vt6YP
