The Chicago Bears made another relocation along the protective line with the addition of edge rush Rasheem Green, who’s finalizing a 1year offer with the group.
Green is a previous third-round choice by the Seattle Seahawks in 2018, who played 4 years with Seattle priorto signingupwith the Houston Texans in2022 He’s currently played 5 years in the league and is just 25 years old, so there’s plenty of advantage with this relocation by basic supervisor Ryan Poles.
He’s amountedto 10 sacks over the last 2 seasons, with his finest season coming in 2021, when he notched 6.5 sacks and 15 quarterback strikes with the Seahawks.
Green is a flexible protective lineman with the capability to play exterior and inside, and he oughtto be a strong rotational piece in Matt Eberflus’ defense.
Here’s how Twitter is responding to the move:

Love it, another pass rush with inside/outside adaptability. 60 QB pressures and 10 sacks over last 2 years, 62.9 run defense grade in 2022 was a career-high https://t.co/ur6ef5acAe
