MANCHESTER, England – Nathaniel Wood was able to bounce back from defeat inspiteof being in a turbulent time in his life.
The featherweight, who beat Daniel Pineda by choice at UFC 304 on Saturday, opened up about some of the problems he knowledgeable in the lead up to his return.
“Usually, I puton’t sleep well on weight cut night anyhow, and then (Friday) I believe since I understood I was battling late I began overthinking the sleep pattern thing and simply might not sleep,” Wood informed pressreporters at the UFC 304 post-fight press conference. “Then my child went to (the emergencysituation space) and I was a bit stressedout about that. It’s simply one of those things where it’s one thing after another.
